RiverRanch 2010

Welcome to the RiverRanch Site!

Yes, that is the Reverend Jon Dunning (Oak Hills PCA) and he is ready for RiverRanch ’09! RiverRanch is the annual Heartland Presbytery Youth Camp. The week is the result of a combined effort between all the churches within the Heartland Presbytery. Youth going into 6th grade all the way through those who have just graduated High School are invited to participate while college students and other adults are invited as leaders.

On this website you will find much more information about this week of camp. We are already praying for those who will come and look forward to this time of fellowship in July.

Best Week of the Year!

This past fall I told Cam
Earnshaw, one of our junior high students that we would not be returning to Youth Front in favor of RiverRanch he responded in his usual relaxed way saying, “That’s cool RiverRanch was way better than Youth Front.” I told him that moment that I would be quoting him on that. This really has become the best week of the year. Great Worship, Great Teaching, Great Fun.

Goals of RiverRanch ’09:

  1. To give the students of the Heartland Presbytery a week away from ordinary life (TV, Web, Video Games, etc) and instead spend time in God’s beautiful creation.

  2. To challenge our students in their relationships with Christ through morning devotional time, evening worship and solid reformed teaching of God’s Holy Word.

  3. To create a wider view of Covenant Community as students from each church fellowship with many like-minded believers of sister churches.

  4. To have a great deal of fun with friends old and new.

  5. For students to return refreshed, desiring to glorify God and enjoy him forever.
