Tonight was the High School Christmas Party. This year the Prins hosted and did a great job. We did a roving white elephant gift exchange while people chatted, played fuss-ball,and  various versions of ping pong. Thank you Jo & Chip for hosting us.

We also played a game with Hawaiian Leis. Everyone received one to start and then every time you heard someone you are talking to say “no” o r “know” they had to give you there lei. You could still play by trying to get them after you lost yours. Many more pictures after the link below.

Breakfast Janey brought for Youth Sunday School this past week. Yum. I find random things on marker boards after Breakaway and Iota and generally take pictures. My guess is Chloe made this. 

Tonight we were able to watch the HCA Musical, Fiddler on the Roof. Students did an amazing job. Here are some photos from the night or you can jump to the whole Flickr Set.

We have a number of students out at Kansas State University. This past Thursday, The Shanahans and we decided to go check out the town of Manhattan and visit some some of the Redeemer Students while we were there. Had a great time checking in on how campus life is going with Hat Reymond, Robbie Hotz and David Maas.

Someday we would love to see an RUF (Reformed University Fellowship) both there and at Kansas University. What I love about RUF  and what makes it unlike every other Christian student organization is that it connects university students to the local PCA Church. So it is not simply a para-church organization, but one that disciples students to be active in their local church wherever they end up after college in the same way they are active in their church during college.

Anyway it was great to see them. Please pray for all of our students in college as they make huge life decisions and learn to mature in their faith away from home. More pictures after the link.

We all crammed in our Mini Van and headed to Aggieville, but found it too crowded so we headed over to Pizza Shuffle where David and Hat swore the greatest pizza on the planet was cream cheese and bacon. It was fantastic. Hat made us do some tradition called the Pizza Shuffle Drop. You turn your pizza (in box) over and drop it on the ground to get the grease off. It worked.

I feel betrayed by the guys… I learned this pose at Sasse’s volleyball game awhile back.

Beckham thought Connor was getting married.

Connor went on the field with one date and left the field with a different date. He didn’t win, but we are impressed that he was a finalist.
