In Town Retreat 2012 In Pictures ^{0}

This past Friday and Saturday was the 2012 In Town Retreat. This year we included Oak Hills, New Hope and Woodland Ridge and had a fantastic time.

Huge thank you to the following families for hosting students in their homes overnight. Prins, Bakers, McGuires, Bashams, Philips, Warners, Mayers and Guerras.

Thank you to our drivers both to homes and during the Progressive Lunch on Saturday. Thank you Christina Lutz, Ruth Tisdales, Travis “Ubuntu” Shanahan, Mindy Casteel, Brett Daane, Amy Boehm, Emily Vesper and Rick Pierce.

Thank you to our amazing Progressive Lunch host homes this year, The Albrights, The Guerras, The Vos’ and Tammy Schumann & Christina Schultte. As you’ll see in the photos they did a fantastic job.

Thank you to Joe Bartu for helping out in various ways, to Andria Merrill, Jon Dunning, Dan “Red” Johnson, Lindsey Mauk, Connor Lutz and Chris Earnshaw for helping lead songs of worship.

Thank you Scott & Carmen Creecy for ministering to Laura and I by watching our kids so we could be undistracted this weekend.

Sunday School Breakfast ^{0}

High School Christmas Party Pictures ^{0}

Tonight was the High School Christmas Party. This year the Prins hosted and did a great job. We did a roving white elephant gift exchange while people chatted, played fuss-ball,and various versions of ping pong. Thank you Jo & Chip for hosting us.

We also played a game with Hawaiian Leis. Everyone received one to start and then every time you heard someone you are talking to say “no” o r “know” they had to give you there lei. High School Christmas Party ^{0}

When: Tuesday 6:30 to 9:00 PM (December 19th)

Where: Chip & Jo Prins. 12021 Goddard Ave. Overland Park, KS 66213

What to Bring: Dessert to share and White Elephant Gift (wrap something worthless)

Who: 9th – 12th Grade

What are we doing: We’ll eat snacks and dessert as we do the white elephant gift exchange, hangout and play a Hawaiian Lei game.

HCA Basketball & Cheer ^{0}

We were able to take in most of the HCA Basketball game tonight. The School Spirit this year is evident from the the cheers in the stands. Tonight they made faces on sticks of all the players which made for some great photos you’ll see. Anyway more pictures after the link.
