2009 Youth Christmas Party Pics
12.23
Huge thank you to Mike and Jenny Preston who opened their home for the 2009 Redeemer Youth Christmas Party. We enjoyed hanging out with each other, playing “Things” and “Birdman” as seen in video above. Roxie is only allowed to act out what is on the sheet of paper, “the Q.”

Caroling 2009 Pictures

This past Wednesday Redeemer Adults & Youth ventured out on their annual Caroling with Martha. We had a great time singing to our neighbors who appeared to enjoy our coming to their homes with songs of praise at Christ coming. Follow the link below for more photos of the evening
Caroling Tonight (Instead of Breakaway)
12.16

Tonight beginning at 6:30 students of Breakaway will join with Martha’s annual Caroling in the neighborhood just east of Redeemer. We will meet in the gym before going out as one large group. Students are expected to remain with the group the entire time. We will go from home to home singing carols (printed sheets of lyrics will be provided) proclaiming the coming of Christ during this Advent tradition. The evening is over at 8 p.m. Please be sure to dress for very cold weather. The weather man is predicting something in the 30s. Parents & all adults you are invited and encouraged to join us for this evening of caroling.
Good Samaritan Center Christmas Program
12.12
“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” (James 1:27 ESV)
Today we visited residents of the Good Samaritan Center in Olathe. Students played piano, trumpet, violin and sang carols as we celebrated the birth of Christ with residents. Thank you to all who came out to minister to the residents today. Here are some photos from the day. 3 of them have been picniked, see if you can spot them.
