This blog is a ministry tool of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Overland Park, KS.
True discipleship requires more interaction than our busy schedules allow. Just as a shepherds offer grass for grazing all week long I hope this blog will do the same for the youth and families of Redeemer – provide spiritual food between Sundays. My desire is to encourage growth in Christ through reading and reflection of Scripture and viewing different aspects culture (TV, music, books, movies, internet, etc.) with a Christian worldview. This blog will also serve to communicate up-to-date info on events and announcements as well as photos showing past events. Finally, while real community takes place in person, using the comments option on this blog can help students keep in touch during the week despite attending many different schools. In 2009 I hope to add more interactive aspects to this blog.
