City Union Service Project ^{0}

Today 30 something Redeemer adults and youth traveled down to the City Union Mission under the leadership of Jan Frye to put together back to school backpacks for children who need them. Unfortunately we were not able to work on that project, but did get a great tour of the work being done down there as well as the opportunity to pack a truck with wood that was being transfered to another location. We also experienced the best Chinese/Fried Chicken place in all of Kansas City. Thank you to everyone who came with a heart to serve others in the name of Christ. Summer Gathering Finale Tonight ^{0}

Tonight is our last Summer Gathering for 2009. Students will look back on the major points of the book as we go forward in pursuit of Godly relationships. We will have burgers and hotdogs as we play some games up at the south building. Please drop your students off as usual, but pick them up at the south building.

Service Oppurtunity ^{0}

Next Wednesday August 12th Pastor Tony is looking for students who wish to go to City Union Mission and prepare school supplies for needy kids. We’ll leave from church at 8:30 a.m. and return sometime after lunch. You have nothing to gain, but the joy of serving others in the name of Christ.
