Taco Dinner 2009{0}
Thank you to everyone who came out in support of the 2009 Border Mission Team at the Taco Dinner. We were able to raise a good bit of support because of your donations and your bids. I’ll give an update next week where we are and what is still to come. Big thanks to Norma Morse and Marty Basham who were a huge help to the team in pulling this off tonight. Follow the link below for a plethora of photos and explanations of the night. There are are ton of photos…

Jackson was in pursuit of candy, he succeeded.
Miles split the donkey in half.
Ethan wacks the donkey
Vusich clan enjoying some tacos
Every time I come to take a picture of Lenin, no matter where we are, he puts his face down in his food. Now I’m starting to think it is a South American thing.
Debbie and Kristi.
I thought bunnies were vegetarians, but this one is bidding on a bacon cheeseburger.
Momo doing…I have no idea
This is Travis’ second trip through the line: 2 more tacos and one of nearly every dessert.
That’s a Blanco jersey on Joy
Again the bunny with meat, I’m starting to think this is not a real bunny
Amy reacting very well to the “call her name and quickly snap a shot” game.
I believe this is the seconds line, here we have people who know quality food when they taste it.
Sam working away
It appears everything is moving but Hat, no idea why.
Jonathan getting some tasty tomatoes.
Still not sure what she is doing
If you could see through Zach’s hat you would see Joy is smiling and looking at the camera, however the camera was not looking at her.
That’s more like it, lettuce.
Hat giving the bunny bunny ears

Mich may have just woken up.
Josh, still working on the “someone is taking a picture of me” pose
Tomi is talking to a team other than RPC United, rumor is he may be traded to Phoenix this season in exchange for a swing set.
Anya has mastered the “someone is pointing a camera at me” pose.
Hungry boy! Did anyone use the plasticware for their food?
Darryl working
Sadie still working on the smile, Shari has it down though
Megan and Jeremy, they went home with those cushions in the background.
Here I am being mocked with the hands up shot. Check out the man-beard on Matt.

AJ must be practicing camera poses with Josh, Emily has it down.

Andersons lovin’ some tacos
This is early on, Mostella couldn’t figure out what was up with the bunny. At a meeting two weeks ago, the bunny asked me what to wear to this event, I said a bunny suit and then told them all to wear soccer jerseys. Clearly he did not hear the correction.
Texting and eating.

In year’s past we gave Tony a burger because he doesn’t like Mexican food. This year we put it up for auction and Scott White won the auction. I laughed very hard when the auction was counting down and Scott has walking with tacos, just as the auction ended he handed the tacos to Tony having won the burger. In a very disappointing, yet kind, move he then gave the burger to Tony.
The world’s most expensive burger: $175
Hmmm…
Head too small or hat too big?
This is the correct cheese method
Norma showing them how we Texans do it. Put meat here, cheese goes here, threaten to leave the Union, then add some lettuce. Viola, it’s ready to go!
Cheese on top of cheese, doesn’t get much better than that.
mmmm…Espinaca
More poses while people wait for their tacos. Not cool Camera Guy.
Mason
Two thumbs up for the tacos from the Subway sandwich artist turned taco artist.
