Breakaway March 11th 2009 ^{1}

Tonight we began with a classic tag team Peeps eating relay. Mr Maguire lead us in prayer before singing Come Ye Sinners and dividing into smaller teaching groups. Elementary continued their study of 25 Basic Bible Studies by Francis Schaeffer. This week they were looking at Old Testament Prophesies which spoke of the coming of Christ. Junior High and High School is in week two of a study on the Life of Peter. This week it was Luke 5:1-11 where Jesus tells Peter to throw out his fishing nets at a time that does seems unlikely to gain results. After catching more fish than he ever though possible Peter responds by unexpectedly falling at Jesus’ feet saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord.” I loved teaching it.
