Breakaway February 25th Pics
02.26
We are a little short on photos from this weeks Breakaway, but those that exist are after the link. Above is David Maas. He has been doing our Audio/Video all year and done an absolute amazing job. He often has some great Alternative Breakaway Logos to show when students are arriving (if you don’t know, I love logos). Zach Lutz taught the Junior High and Senior High Students tonight and did a really great job working through James 3:13-18. Click on link for more photos.
Breakaway Tonight February 25th 2009
02.25
Elementary will be playing Scatterball in Gym, Junior High while High School are playing Birdman in youth room. Older students will be taught by Senior Zach Lutz who will be teaching on James 3:13-18. Zach is going to Moody Bible Institute next fall and God willing to seminary after that. We met the other day and he is very prepared for his time to teach, I’m excited to see how it goes. Also for those who are counting skunk count at south building is now at 9. Nine skunks have been caught, my nose is also confirming that nine skunks have let out a stink.
James 3:13-18
“Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. 15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. 17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. 18 And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”
