After the Sands ^{0}

We are on the bus heading back to the Travel Lodge from white sands. We did some sleding, buried people, sledded over buried people. Watched Jacob run from dune top to dune top without growing weary. Watched Kevin climb to dune top growing weary. Emily and Nathan made a huge cross on a distant dune, it was beautiful. Then they made a star of David and I became worried the cresent moon might be next. I did tackle Nathan down a dune which was very satisfying.

As the sun set we gathered for our debriefing. Truly amazing view of God’s creation. We continued our discussion under the most star filled sky I have ever seen. We were able to hear about the work God is doing on the border which I found to be encouraging. Tomorrow we travel home and God willing we will arive at 2 05 in the afternoon. Please pray for our travels.

Can’t Wait To Be Home ^{1}

We poured cement today. Cement has lyme in it which burns your skin. Some of us had cement soaking through our jeans so bad that our resident Doctor had us cut our jeans off. As you can see guys in short shorts is not a pretty sight. We are now done with construction. House is not done yet so work will continue. We did get to dig a cement truck out of sand today which was also a new experience. Now we are headed to white sands New Mexico to sled on sand dunes.
