Mentos Betrayal {0}
Some events go down in history as great acheivments, the invention of the light bulb, the conversion of Saul to Paul, the Wizards winning the MLS Cup in 2000. What you will see on this video is not one of them. It is more akin to Benadict Arnold(link to Wikipedia for the unknowing).

Summer Gathering {0}
This summer the junior and senior high have been meeting to read and discuss the books Do Hard Things and Don’t Waste Your Life. After we’ve spend some time in discussion we play a game of some sort. While they don’t always go the way they are supposed to this group of students always manages to have a great time. Tonight we finally got around to testing the widely documented Diet Coke and Mentos experiment in the form of a game. We had eight teams tasked with making their diet coke shoot up in the air the highest. Joey learned on his birthday that Rick cannot be trusted with a bottle of diet coke and mentos.

RiverRanch T-Shirt Design Change {1}
After posting the t-shirt design for RiverRanch ’08, Jacob V. had the following remark.
“I think it would be good if it was just a picture of me, or a picture of Honorable Rapscallions of Perplexity and some Scallywags (HRPS). We are gonna blow the world away with this tour.”
Apparently he and some Scallywags believe Karaoke Night to be the start of their Karaoke Careers and thus need a tour shirt. Not wanting to disappoint we’ve changed the camp shirt to his liking. What do you think?
*We have not really changed the t-shirt design although this one would be sweet.
