A week or two before RiverRanch ‘08 I asked Rickopedia if he would be the main guy in a gag game. I explained how he would be scaring people and that those involved never saw it coming. What I didn’t explain is that he would be one of the people who never saw it coming. About the same time I let Jacob know he was needed for a secret mission at RiverRanch. Each time he would ask what it was I simply informed him that he wasn’t ready yet. Below is what unfolded on the evening of June 25, 2008.

There are more than two hours of video from RiverRanch. The plan is to edit smaller sections and to post them for all to see, then to post one compilation that gives a good overview of the week. First though I had to test a theory that arrose while at RiverRanch. I noticed that our beloved Jon Dunning (Teaching Elder at Oak Hills) could look like a rapper when giving annuncements, however more research needed to be conducted. Here is that research.

Our Witchita sister church has set up a flickr group with their photos and our photos giving us an even larger amount of photos to spend your time searching through. Here is the group. They have photos from on the river and we’ll have some once they are developed.

RiverRanch ‘08 was a great time for fellowship, learning about Life in the Kingdom and having a great time. I’ll have more pictures up here tonight. Here is one of us in our sweet shirts though. Be sure to mark your calendars for July 13th – 17th 2009 for RiverRanch ‘09.
