RPC United Trounces WAC at All American {0}

rpc-united-medium-trans.gif

RPC United(more info) continued it’s winning ways in an early morning game against WAC. The mysterious #88 (rumored to be a transfer player from Ecquador known only as “‘ametralladora“, Spanish for “Machine Gun”) continued his scoring ways and teammate B.C. Hough (B.C. is for “blue card”) recorded his first game without a foul. Hough’s only comment at half time was, “my chin really hurts, I want my mommy“.

RPC called up two players from their farm team due to an unprecedented 5 regulars out, including both goalies, to field a full team, yet still put the swahili (redneck for kicking someone’s butt) on the unsuspecting WAC team. Newly aquired Corey Gordon also showed renewed lungs as he played a solid game going both ways.
The game was marred by WAC’s best player suffering a nasty alchilles’ heel injury. The Peruvian Predator swears he had nothing to do with the WAC forward’s injury, saying, “I wasn’t anywhere near him man…” No video replay exists, so we’ll have to believe the antiobiotic wielding doctor from Peru.
The final score was 8-0. RPC United leads the league at 3-0. Their next game is against a strong Merkato team and Goodyear Express looks to be a scoring machine. RPC United must remain strong and relentless (not to mention their need to stay away from seconds at meal time) if they have a chance of taking this league’s title. So far, things look promising. Player coach Tony Felich had this to say after the game- “Despite our good scoring effort, we still have to tighten up our passing. We need to get our whole team back for next Thursday’s game, that one should be good.”
