Last week Chico became a US Citizen after a great deal of work, don’t forget to congratulate him next time you see him. One thing Chico mentioned was that there is a test that he had to take, it could have any of 90 possible questions on it (not sure how many are on the test). This got us talking about how well those of us who grew up as US citizens would do on the same exam. I decided to test this theory on Laura giving her an online (mock) version of the exam to see how she would do. She scored an 80%, which says she’d be an ok citizen. You can take the test here. Post your results in the comments for fun. Here is also a link to 100 “typical” questions for an actual test (I have no idea why the numbers don’t match up, 90, 100, 20, etc). Finally here an an alternate test that I’m proud to say I got a perfect 100 on. Watching Laura’s test sure helped.

95%. The Voting Amendment tripped me up. I need a harder test…..
Jon, Here is a harder test.
1. What is the airspeed velocity of a swallow?
2. Why is the word abbreviation so long?
3. How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?
Answer to Brian’s quiz:
1)An african or a European swallow?
2)For the sheer sake of irony
3)124, but that’s just me.
